Employment

The City of Stanwood contracts for law enforcement services through the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office. The contract is identified as a "stand-alone" contract, which allows the City of Stanwood to maintain its own police identity to include policies and procedures that meet unique small city needs. All uniforms and vehicles are identified as Stanwood Police.

If you are wanting to become a police officer you can visit the employment page with the Snohomish County Sheriff Office for lots of information regarding the steps needed to take to become a Police Officer.
