Vacant, City Council Liaison to the Library Board
The Library Board is an advisory board of the City of Stanwood. The board makes recommendations to the mayor and the city council regarding the general supervision of the library facilities and programs in accordance with the city’s contract for library service with the Sno-Isle Library System.
The board is composed of five members who may serve up to two five-year terms. When a vacancy occurs on the board, applicants submit a letter of interest and are interviewed by a Library Board member, the Stanwood Managing Librarian, and the Mayor. The candidate selection is submitted to the city council for approval of the appointment.
