Meet Mayor Callaghan
Elizabeth Callaghan is a graduate of Seattle Pacific University and currently teaches at Grace Academy in Marysville. She has lived in Stanwood since 2009 and enjoys the rich heritage and unique character of the city. Mayor Callaghan previously served on the City Council from 2012 to 2013, served two terms on the City’s Planning Commission 2010 to 2011 and 2013 to 2015, and resumed her seat as Councilmember 2016 to 2020 when elected Mayor by the Council.
