Codes & Regulations

Land Use Planning and Permitting involves evaluation for project compliance with the City’s zoning regulations and Street and Utility Standards:

• The Zoning Code may be viewed online in Chapter 17 of the Stanwood Municipal Code.
  • Critical Area Regulations are in Chapter 17.114 through 17.135.
• The Street and Utility Standards (PDF) are adopted in Chapter 14 of the Municipal Code.
• Environmental Regulations can be found in the State Environmental Policy Act (SEPA) Chapter 17/149.
